You can measure your (and secretly your beloved's) neck before you purchase a necklace or choker. You can do this by using a soft measuring tape and wrapping it around your neck. Take that measurement and add 2 inches to it. That length will be a comfortable size for chokers. A choker chain will usually have your Jewelry nicely tucked in the little valley between your collarbones. Great for some of our bigger Jewelry pieces - it's never in the way when hugging :)

For name pendants or flat pendant necklaces, add 4 inches to your neck's measurement. Usually those fit well with 18-inch chains.
